Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the expectations, responsibilities, and policies for all services provided by Refined Detailing By scheduling an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following Terms.

1. Appointments & Scheduling

1.1 Availability
Appointments are accepted based on availability and service location. We reserve the right to adjust scheduling due to weather, delays, or unforeseen circumstances.

1.2 Arrival Window
Appointment times may include a 30–60 minute arrival window to account for travel, traffic, and setup.

1.3 Access to Vehicle
You agree to provide full access to the vehicle and surrounding work area. If the vehicle is in a parking garage or private property, you must ensure entry permission is granted.

2. Pricing & Payment

2.1 Pricing

All pricing listed on our website or quote form is estimated and may vary based on:

  • Vehicle size

  • Condition of interior or exterior

  • Additional services requested

  • Pet hair, stains, or heavy soiling

Final pricing is confirmed upon in-person inspection before service begins.
 

2.2 Payment

Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the service.
We accept: Cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

 

2.3 Deposits

A deposit may be required for large bookings or high-demand scheduling. Deposits are non-refundable unless the appointment is canceled within the approved cancellation window.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 Cancellation Window
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in forfeiture of the deposit or a cancellation fee.

3.2 Weather Conditions
We reserve the right to reschedule due to unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions for mobile detailing. Interior-only services may still continue depending on the circumstances.

4. Vehicle Condition & Limitations

4.1 Pre-Existing Damage

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, including:

  • Tears, rips, burns, or stains

  • Oxidation, fading, or paint defects

  • Loose panels, brittle plastics, or worn trim

  • Electrical issues or aftermarket modifications

Customers are encouraged to report any known issues prior to service.
 

4.2 Personal Belongings

Please remove all personal items from the vehicle before the appointment.
We are not responsible for lost, misplaced, or damaged personal items left inside the vehicle.

 

4.3 Vehicle Condition Charge

Excessive pet hair, severe stains, mold, excessive trash, or biohazards may incur additional charges or refusal of service.

5. Service Expectations

5.1 Results Disclaimer

Results vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.
We do not guarantee total removal of:

  • Deep stains

  • Permanent damage

  • Odors

  • Scratches or etching

  • Hard water spots

We always aim for the best possible outcome within safe detailing practices.
 

5.2 Safety & Damage Prevention

We use professional tools and safe techniques, but we will not perform any service that risks damaging the vehicle or violates industry standards.
 

5.3 Customer Satisfaction

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your service, you must notify us within 24 hours so we can address the concern. After this period, we cannot guarantee corrections.

6. Photos & Marketing

6.1 Before/After Photos
We may take before-and-after photos for documentation and marketing purposes.
Photos will never reveal personal information, license plates, or identifiable details without your permission.


6.2 Customer Privacy
We do not share names, addresses, or personal details in any promotional content.

7. Liability

7.1 Limited Liability

Refined Detailing is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing vehicle damage

  • Mechanical or electrical issues

  • Damage resulting from aftermarket modifications

  • Loss due to failure of vehicle components during cleaning
     

7.2 Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is mechanically sound and safe to detail.

8. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service at any time for reasons including:

  • Unsafe working conditions

  • Hostile or inappropriate behavior

  • Unreasonable expectations

  • Biohazards or extreme vehicle conditions

REFINED DETAILING proudly serves San Ramon and the surrounding areas. All mobile detailing services are performed on-site at your home if you are located within our service areas.
